I don't understand this whole "Blog" thing

Really, I don't understand this whole blog thing. But then again, I have journals from a trip an ancestor of mine took, and I cherish them like crazy, so I suppose that's why I've established this blog... to document my thoughts and activities, and slow my world down a bit. It takes time to write out your thoughts, and in so doing you have to examine yourself, and I think that the speed this world is advancing robs people of the all-important ability to just sit the hell down and truly think about something. Appreciate what's around you instead of zooming by it, snapping a photo, and missing out on what can be experienced and appreciated by stopping, smelling the roses, or just sitting in a pub somewhere sharing a pint or two and some stories with the locals.
I've been hyperactive my whole life, and if you saw my elementary school report cards, you'd realize that I am a classic A.D.D. guy: "Bobby spends too much time looking out the window"... "If Bobby spent as much time doing his math work as he does doodling in his notebook he might pass"... "Bobby wold prefer chatting with his neighbours than getting down to work"... "Bobby doesn't like to sit still for long periods of time"... "Bobby is quite the daydreamer"... "Bobby, Bobby, Bobby". Oh piss off! It wasn't my fault that Ritalin wasn't invented yet!
You see how my thoughts can change in a nano second?

Your hyper-activity is what makes you unique Bob! I hope you plan on writing every day!

R.G. Brook (Look up... c'est moi), was born in 1959 in Peterborough, Ontario CANADA. I am a Class 1 Licensed Funeral Director, graphic and stained-glass artist & photographer (not to mention an all-around super duper fella), who loves far too many things to mention here. Oh... I'm very opinionated on some issues, but that doesn't mean I'm close-minded. Read the blog... you'll see.
